Workforce For The Future

City of Bristol College are proud to be part of Workforce for the Future, an £8m programme co-funded by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and the European Social Fund (ESF) that works with small and medium-sized enterprises in the West to help them develop their workforce.

What do we offer?

We offer a full catalogue of support to help businesses plan for their future. We can analyse your current workforce to identify skills gaps and training needs, and provide bespoke training, apprenticeships, work placements, traineeships and student projects to meet your business’ needs.

By partnering with us, you will also have the opportunity to give guest lectures to our students to attract the apprentices or even employees of the future. Employers in the construction sector will also be invited to join our Future Constructions Skills Taskforce, which will meet on a quarterly basis to shape the future of education in the industry, identifying where the training gaps currently lie and how our provision can fulfil those needs.

Extra support

By working with City of Bristol College you will not only benefit from our support, but also have access to free support from a range of West of England project partners including the WECA (West of England Combined Authority) Growth Hub.
