Enrolment for 16-18 year olds

This information is for School Leavers, aged 16-18.

Online enrolment

Our enrolment for school leavers will commence on the GSSE results day, Thursday 20 August 2020. Existing applicants will be able to enrol using our new online enrolment platform.

If you have applied, we will contact you with enrolment details over the summer weeks. Please make sure we have your up-to-date contact information.

Three parts of online enrolment

  • Part one – you will be asked to check your personal details (prior to 19 August)
  • Part two – you will be asked to complete a short English and maths exercise (between 27 July and 14 August)
  • Part three – you will be asked to input your GCSE results into the online platform (from 20 August)

To enrol online you will need…

  • Access to a mobile phone, tablet or a laptop/PC.
  • Internet access.
  • Transcripts of your GCSE centre assessment grades and/or certificates.
  • Head and shoulder digital image of yourself, if you are using a laptop/PC. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet, you will be able to use the camera function on your device.
  • Contact number and email address of your parent / carer, so that we can keep in touch with them regarding your progress on the course.
  • Two emergency contact details. These will only be used by the college in an event of an emergency.

Unable to complete online enrolment?

If you are unable to complete online enrolment, you should contact the college at the earliest opportunity by emailing admissions@cityofbristol.ac.uk or calling 0117 312 5000 and requesting an appointment in one of our centres.

To keep everyone safe, please only come to a centre if you have booked an appointment.

To enrol onsite you will need…

  • To have booked an appointment.
  • To have read the safety guidance about coming into college.
  • To bring original transcripts of your GCSE centre assessment grades and/or certificates.
  • To bring a contact number and email address of your parent / carer, so that we can share vital information with them.
  • To bring two emergency contact details which will only be used by the college in an event of an emergency.
  • To bring a pen.

Please note that new term starts on Wednesday 2 September. Don’t delay your application and enrolment. Joining your course on time is important to the success of your studies.
