Salary: £20,972 – £21,404

Contract: 37 hours, Full-Time, Permanent

About the role:

You will be able to provide support in workshops and other areas to ensure materials and equipment are in proper working order and available for learners to use as required for their learning.  To do this you will be able to work well in a team, working with the other technicians and lecturers within the Electrical Department to carry out general maintenance across all workshop areas, as well as supporting them in the workshop practical sessions.

You will be well organised supporting the material aspects of Apprenticeship End Point Assessments as well as the Full-Time practical assessment.

You will be able to read wiring and circuit diagrammes, as well as interpreting electrical instructions in order to maintain and update test and inspecting exam rigs.

You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
