About the role:

Are you interested in embedding Youth Social Action (YSA) within your community?

We’re looking to appoint a highly motivated apprentice with support from the Pears Foundation and the #iwillFund and #NationalLottery to work across 2 partner colleges in our area, City of Bristol College and Weston College.

Apprenticeships are a great opportunity to gain skills knowledge and work in the community at the same time.

 In this role you will raise awareness of Youth Social Action (YSA) and increase high quality youth social action opportunities for students within two partner colleges, City of Bristol College and Weston College.

You will also raise the positive profile of the partner college, Weston College through YSA in the local community.

You will need to be qualified to Level 2 in English and Maths and passionate about developing young people and creating opportunities in YSA.

You will also need excellent communication skills, the ability to develop good working relationships with students and staff across the partner colleges, and the ability to work in an inclusive way upholding the principles and values of youth work practice.
