Graphic Design

Want to learn the fundamentals of graphic design? Learn how to communicate visually with this eight-week, evening course in graphic design which takes place on Thursday evenings.

You’ll explore:

  • the concept of creative thinking
  • the core principles of design and the elements used
  • the basics of typography.

Automotive Management

Our Level 4 course in automotive management is for adults aged 19+ who are already working in first line management roles.

It’s a part-time, six-week course that offers individuals working in the automotive industry the opportunity to develop their knowledge. The course will help you progress on to higher levels of management.

Education and Training

The Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory teaching qualification. This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge you will need to dip your toes into the world of formal education, either as the first part of your journey to becoming a fully qualified teacher or in a supporting or training capacity. 

It is also a great way of developing your knowledge of pedagogy if you’re one of the millions now turning your hand to home schooling and want to understand more about the science behind learning!

Human Resources

Our Level 3 HR course is taught four hours a week for one year. It’s perfect if you want to acquire a wide range of relevant and practical skills in HR and development. It will also give you a professionally recognised qualification and a professional level of CIPD membership, Associate (Assoc CIPD).

Our Level 5 Human Resource Management course will help you develop your knowledge and understanding of different HR models and practices, and the external factors that impact on organisations. You’ll also develop your ability in management planning, analytical and problem solving skills and to evaluate the effectiveness of Human Resource practices.

Programming

We offer an eight-week, Tuesday evening course to introduce beginners to programming. The Python programming language is used during the course but skills learned are fully transferable and can be applied to other programming languages.

Assessing Vocational Achievement (TAQA)

This course is for people who are starting their professional journey towards becoming an Assessor.

Throughout this course you will gain the knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of assessment. You will learn to assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment, using different assessment methods.
