We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Construction department as a Plastering Lecturer. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of plastering knowledge. We welcome those with industry experience, who wants to share their skills to apply. No formal teaching qualifications are required. The college will fund and support you to obtain this. Just bring the willingness to achieve this whilst on the job.
As a Lecturer in Plastering/Construction, your role is to plan and deliver engaging teaching experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Your expertise in Plastering/Construction will be at the heart of our curriculum, ensuring that students gain the practical skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the industry.
Personal Development Tutor
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Personal Development Tutor to join our team. As a Personal Development Tutor, you will provide students with mentoring and coaching support throughout their academic programme of study. You are also required to meet with the timetabled groups of students on a weekly basis in delivery of our Personal Development programme which aims to promote the students personal, social and emotional well-being.
You will build positive working relationships with all students you will need to work with and will need to understand the curriculum that the student is enrolled in and offer empathy and compassion whilst supporting the individual to remove barriers to their learning.

City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint a trade competent, enthusiastic and proactive NVQ Trainer. This position is full time however part time applications will be considered. Here at our college we will fully support and fund you to gain the correct assessing/teaching qualifications. We offer a full induction and benefits package that includes a generous holiday allowance and pension contributions.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years industry experience of electrical installation and an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced craft certificate in Electrical Installation is essential.
