Three City of Bristol College apprentices compete in SkillBuild competition

We were proud to host the Skillbuild Regional Qualifier competition at our Advanced Construction Skills Centre next week, and even prouder to have three of our own apprentices compete.

The high-profile competition sees students compete in a range of construction disciplines under strict competition rules. Ben from Stonewood Builders Ltd and Archie and Diego from Hayley and Howe are now waiting anxiously for their results and to see if they make the next stage. The eight overall highest-achieving competitors in each skill are invited to compete at the SkillBuild UK National Final.

SkillBuild, delivered by CITB, is the largest multi-trade skills competition in the UK for construction trainees and apprentices. The competitions are designed to test skills, technique and ability to work to tight deadlines, to ultimately identify the top performers in 10 different trade areas.
