What Are Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs)?

The National Careers Service has created a helpful video detailing what HTQs are.

In the clip, you will hear from students, employers and training providers about how these new qualifications can provide you with the skills that you need to succeed.

Degree Level Apprenticeships

Degree Apprenticeships offer a unique opportunity to earn a salary, gain work experience, and earn a degree without tuition fees. As a Level 6 Apprentice, you’ll graduate with a BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) degree, like full-time university students. You will spend 20% of your working week studying at university, and while entry requirements vary, formal qualifications such as advanced apprenticeships or A-Levels are typically required, although industry experience may also be considered.

Higher Education Graduation

We are passionate about championing and celebrating our graduates and their incredible achievements. The pinnacle of which is our Higher Education Graduation that takes place in November each year.

In 2025, we proudly hosted our Higher Education graduation ceremony at the Wills Memorial Building in Bristol, a neo-Gothic landmark designed by Sir George Oatley and built by George and Henry Wills as a memorial to their father, Henry Overton Wills III.
