Apprenticeships supported by City of Bristol College:
Apprenticeships in and around Bristol
With an apprenticeship you start working for an employer in Bristol and the South West from day one. You need to find your own employer as part of your application for an apprenticeship, but we will help you with this. We were shortlisted for the AAC Construction Provider of the Year 2021. View our case studies for real life examples of successful apprentices.
Earn money and get ahead

How to apply for an apprenticeship and current vacancies
As long as you are 16 or over, have lived in the EU for three years, you are eligible to apply for an apprenticeship.
The specific requirements will vary, depending on the apprenticeship. They tend to be a mixture of academic ability, enthusiasm and knowledge of your chosen area.
You will need to to have an employer to start an apprenticeship.

Talent Pool
We work with our apprentice applicants to ensure that they are ready for interviews and apprenticeship placements, and when applicants are deemed job-ready, they are added to our Talent Pool and we will encourage employers to consider interviewing them.
If you are in our Talent Pool, we will keep you informed about vacancies that suit your skills and aspirations, so that you don’t miss any opportunities. We will always give you feedback from interviews and work with you along the way to ensure that you secure your apprenticeship.
We have also created an interview guidance booklet for apprentices (pdf) to help you be successful.
