The South West Apprenticeship Company (SWAC)
The South West Apprenticeship Company (SWAC) is an award-winning government approved Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency (FJAA) which supports employers in the South West and surrounding regions to recruit and employ apprentices. SWAC received a Gold Service Award from the South West Apprenticeships Ambassador Network (SWAAN) in 2021 and 2022 in recognition of their excellent services to apprentices and employers in the local area.
SWAC can provide you with an apprentice who will be employed by them but work for you full-time, with their experienced team offering support to you and your apprentice throughout the training. Alternatively, you can hire your own apprentice, and SWAC can offer specialist HR advice and take the responsibilities of human resources, payroll and performance management off your hands.

Fully supported recruitment and employment
With this extra incentive support, many businesses are opting to use SWAC’s cost-effective HR solution to apprentice recruitment and employment.
They offer a fully managed employment service where they recruit, employ and mentor your apprentices; they even manage the government funding and help you to choose the right training and provider to suit your staffing requirements and apprentice.
They work with you throughout the duration of the apprentice journey with a structured mentoring program to ensure your apprentice is on track to achieve and become an effective member of your team. 99% of SWAC apprentices complete their training and are employed full time.
This level of support means that they we will work in partnership with you to save you time and money, allowing you to focus your time on growing your business.
