Who is this course for?
This course is for beginners who want to learn how to use SolidWorks to create 3D models and 2D technical drawings.
You do not need previous CAD experience. An interest in engineering, industrial or product design may be helpful, as may experience using other 3D CAD, CAE or CAM software.
What you’ll learn
You will learn how to use SolidWorks to create 3D models and 2D technical drawings, including:
- Creating sketches and modelling 3D parts
- Combining parts to create assemblies
- Producing 2D technical drawings from your 3D models for production purposes
