Find out more about our A Level pathways and how to apply

This course is for individuals who want to develop their management and leadership skills and apply their learning to their current role. It is suitable for both experienced professionals looking to enhance their skills and those who are developing their management responsibilities.

You do not need to hold a formal management position to join the course.

Units cover a range of management and leadership topics, including:

  • Personal and professional development as a manager and leader
  • Managing projects to achieve results
  • Managing change
  • Principles of innovation
  • Principles of marketing
  • Strategic corporate social responsibility
  • Managing finance

Plus three additional units.

Ideally, you should have one to three years' experience in a supervisory, managerial, coaching or mentoring role, alongside a Level 4 qualification in any discipline and a good standard of English and Maths.

Relevant qualifications, professional experience or other training may also be considered. If you do not meet all of the stated criteria, an interview can be arranged to explore your suitability and alternative entry options.

On successful completion, you can progress to higher-level management qualifications, including the CMI Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

There are no additional course costs apart from travel expenses.
