Who is this course for?

This course is designed for beginners with little or no programming experience, job seekers, career changers, students and professionals looking to develop practical Python, AI, and digital workplace skills.

Basic computer knowledge is recommended, but no prior coding experience is required.

What you'll learn

Throughout this eight-week course, you will learn Python programming fundamentals, including syntax, variables, data types, functions, loops, conditional statements, lists, and an introduction to object-oriented programming.

You will also gain a practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence, learning how to use AI tools effectively, write better prompts, understand their advantages and limitations, apply AI to everyday workplace tasks and use technology responsibly to improve productivity and support sustainable digital practices.

Course entry requirements

This course is for those who are 18-years-old and above.

This course is for beginners, Learners with advance-level knowledge or experience may not find this course adds any significant skills to what he/she already has.

No previous programming or AI experience is required. Learners should have basic computer skills, including using a keyboard, mouse and internet browser.

A willingness to learn, solve problems, and participate in practical activities is essential. Access to a computer is recommended.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

This course is delivered through tutor-led demonstrations, guided discussions and practical hands-on activities. Throughout the course, learners will complete workbook exercises to build their knowledge and practical skills.

There are no formal exams. Progress is assessed through participation and successful completion of the workbook activities.

On successful completion of the course, learners will receive an in-house Certificate of Completion.
