Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who wants to learn general knowledge of basic car maintenance. The aim is to develop confidence and practical skills required to carry out basic maintenance on light motor vehicles.
What you'll learn
You will study cover tyre checks, basic dashboard lighting, vehicle electrics, MOT testing, windscreen wipers maintenance and basic engine components.

This course is delivered through practical workshop activities and lectures. You will be trained and assessed on practical tasks undertaken in motor vehicle workshops.
