Who is this course for?

For future filmmakers, storytellers, social content producers and digital creatives with a passion for communication and culture.

What you'll learn

Cover the entire content production process: from concept, planning and recording, through to editing and delivery.

You’ll also explore how AI and sustainability are transforming the future of content creation – from smarter workflows to greener storytelling.

Course entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including both English and Maths (or Level 2 Functional Skills in both subjects).

How is the course delivered and assessed?

  • Employer-set project
  • Occupational specialism: Content Creation and Production
  • Industry Placement

    You’ll complete a 315-hour industry placement. We’ll support you in finding one – or you can source your own.

Future career and study opportunities

Progress to university, degree apprenticeships or roles in content marketing, filmmaking, editing or broadcast production.

Additional costs

We provide basic art and digital resources, but additional materials may need to be purchased individually.

The Learner Support Fund is available to help students from low-income households cover these costs.
