About our adult English and Maths courses
We offer a range of English and Maths courses for adults aged 19+ in Bristol.
Everyone is different and therefore has a different starting point. We will work with you to identify the right level course for you.
Please note, we also offer International English and ESOL courses which are suitable for people who need to improve their English before taking these courses.
Free courses are available
- If you do not have a GCSE Maths qualification Grade 4 (C) or above, all our Adult Maths courses are free.
- If you do not have a GCSE English Language qualification Grade 4 (C) or above, all our Adult English courses are free.
English and Maths courses that work for you
There are a range of times available (mornings, afternoons and evenings) to help you fit learning in and around work, family and other commitments.
GCSE Exam Dates 2026
GCSE exams are incredibly important for every individual’s education. It is crucial that students attend their exams and also have full attendance in their English and Math classes.
Please be on-site by 08:30 on the day of each exam.
The 2026 GCSE exam dates are as follows:Â

Paper 1: Thursday 21 May
Paper 2: Friday 5 JuneÂ
MathematicsÂ
Paper 1: (Non-Calculator) Thursday 14 May
Paper 2: (Calculator) Wednesday 3 June
