Who is this course for?
This qualification is suitable for practitioners who assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment. It allows individuals the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieving a professional qualification for their chosen role.
This qualification is available to anyone working in accredited learning, non-accredited learning the NQF and the QCF.

Throughout the course of the programme, you will:
- Be observed assessing two learners covering 3 assessment methods in the working environment
- Have evidence of attending standardisation meetings/activities
- Keep a record of your continuing professional development and reflect on your practice

This is a work-based competency qualification and an assessor will support and guide you through the qualification.
This Award is made up of 2 units and totals 9 credits.
Future career and study opportunities
On successful completion of this Award, you could work towards Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance.
