Business Skills City of Bristol CollegeThis half-year (15 week) vocational course will introduce you to the business sector.
You will complete a Level 1 BTEC Introductory Award Vocational Studies qualification and develop your employability skills.
This course is offered at our College Green Centre on Thursdays from 9:30 – 15:00.

What you'll learn
During this vocational course, you will:
- complete a series of business related assignments relating to different types of business
- learn about marketing and branding of a product
- learn how to organise yourself and develop a Personal Progression Plan
- develop your employability skills

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
This is a half-year, part-time course. You will be expected to attend College for one day a week.
During this course, you will be assessed in a variety of different ways to give you the best opportunity to demonstrate your skills.
Future career and study opportunities
After completing this course, you could progress onto a Level 1 certificate course, an apprenticeship or employment.
