Course overview

Career Confidence City of Bristol College

Welcome. Thank you for showing interest in the Career Confidence course. This course is a friendly course designed to listen to the concerns we have about getting back into work, or feeling better about ourselves if we are in work.

Sometimes we can feel a sense of ‘drift’ when we think about employment and career futures. It’s not easy to admit we feel displaced, or powerless and a bit lost.

This course is designed to give you time to focus on yourself and we begin by building a community of trust in the group.

We start with identity and throughout the course, we cover many different aspects of personal wellbeing that link to our professional identities. We will learn what professional confidence is and what it is not. Lecturer, Becca Lloyd has written this course after working with different aspects of professional wellbeing and insecurities for many years and created a course that shows how we can take power over the professional aspect of our lives.

If you are looking for a course around professional confidence and careers and are not sure what you want to do, then this may be the one for you.
