What you'll learn

 This Apprenticeship Standard will acquire a versatile skill set for success in fitted interiors installation.

You will learn:

Course entry requirements

To join this course, you must have at least 5 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above including English Language and Maths, or to have completed an alternative full Level 2 course with Level 1 Functional Skills.

You must be employed or to have an offer of employment with an appropriate employer.

You must have a strong commitment to working with your employer and College assessor and an excellent record of attendance at school or college.

You must also demonstrate a high degree of enthusiasm, a guarantee to succeed and prepare effectively for employment.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

This apprenticeship is delivered fully in the workplace supporting the development of the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours for the standard.

Where gaps are identified that can not be taught in the workplace, the apprentice can come in to college to join another apprentice group to learn those skills.

For those students that require upskill in English and/ or Maths there will be one week blocks of in college delivery for this element.

This apprenticeship is delivered over 18 months with a requirement of End point assessment which includes an Online test, In the workplace observation and professional discussion.
