Principal and Chief Executive Officer celebrates Skills Education at 10 Downing Street

Principal and Chief Executive Officer Julia Gray visited 10 Downing Street this week on Wednesday 28 February by invitation of The Rt Hon the Lord Lingfield Kt DL, Chairman of the Chartered Institute for Further Education.

The invitation was to a reception, held in order to celebrate Skills Education.

Talking of the reception, Julia commented: “I feel privileged every day to lead the incredible City of Bristol College, representing skilled, committed colleagues and our fantastic, talented and diverse students.

“This week, I had the honour of doing that at 10 Downing Street as a guest of the Chartered Institute for Further Education.”

Commenting on what this visit represents, Julia added: “Joining a group of Principals and CEOs at this event, with the Minister for Skills, Apprenticeships and HE, during AoC Colleges Week is a significant milestone for FE.

“Our sector is vital, transformative and the key to economic growth.”
