About the course

If you are planning on staying for a few months or years in the UK and want to improve your English, then this could be the course for you! 

This is a twice a week course which will prepare you for the FCE Cambridge English exam Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) B2.

FCE is a well-respected exam by employers across the world.

Entry Requirements

  • You will have a placement test and then talk about possible course options
  • Level: Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) B2
  • The minimum age for students on this course is 18 years
What will I do on this course?
  • Develop your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
  • Improve your reading, writing, speaking, listening and study skills
  • Focus on exams by working with example questions and practising with past exam papers
  • Make use of free access to the international English online resources (Moodle)
Who is it for?

The Cambridge FCE exam preparation course is for international students who have come to England to improve their English and job possibilities.

How Is this course assessed?

Your teacher will set homework after each class in order for you to progress at your own speed and your course book contains exercises for self study.

You will have the opportunity to sit the FCE exam at our Cambridge exam centre.

What could I do next?

At the end of the course, you could start on the next Cambridge exam level or another college course. Your tutor will support you and help you make your next decision.

Additional cost

The cost of the course includes a course book and online self-study materials.

If you decide to take the exam with us in December or June, you will have to pay an additional exam fee.
